About the truck

Fire. Flavor.
Tradition.

Los Gueros MexiBachi started in Modesto in 2021. The idea is simple: Mexican food and Japanese hibachi from the same truck. New York steak, chicken and shrimp go on the flat-top with garlic butter, and the fried rice cooks right next to them.

The Mexican side of the menu is tacos (asada, pastor, chorizo or chicken), burritos, quesadillas, asada fries and nachos. Egg rolls sit in the middle, and the loaded ones come covered in all five sauces. Regulars ask for the Diablo sauce by name.

It's a small family business. The week's schedule and any specials go up on Instagram, orders can be called in ahead, and they cater hibachi trays and taquiza for birthdays, graduations, weddings and work events.
